London disposes of immense sport options, covering all the activities one can imagine. A variety of clubs, ranging from the most exclusive to affordable, some of them boasting rich history, offers different sport programs.

There are multitudinous gyms and fitness centres, but some of them have strict insurance policies. The Jubilee Hall in Covent Garden's Plaza, the Queen Mother Sports Centre at the back of Victoria Station, or the Pineapple Dance Studio in Langley Street are nice places to visit. 

As for swimming, among the outdoor pools Serpentine Lido on the Serpentine in Hyde Park, and Hampstead Bathing Ponds, on the Heath are the two best. Indoors include the Central YMCA off Tottenham Court road, with a very large pool, and the Porchester Center, at the top of Queensway, with popular pool and spa.

Rollerblading is very popular hуre, but London has few good tracks, except Hyde Park and Queensway, ice skating can be practiced at Queensway Bayswater and seasonally on the rinks in front of Somerset House, Marble Arch, Hampton Court, and Canary Wharf.

Regent’s park offers nice tennis courts, softball and badminton grounds.  Boating, sailing and windsurfing are available on Queen Mary’s Reservoir, just beside Heathrow flight paths. Such exclusive and expensive activities as polo and riding are provided in Ascot and Hyde Park, the vast array of golf courses makes this traditional British sport easily available.
