Maritime Greenwich, a park, includes the Old Royal Observatory, the Maritime Museum, the Queen’s House (one of Inigo Jones’s famous buildings), the former Royal Naval College and the Cutty Sark, the sole remaining example of the China Clippers that sailed between Europe and the Orient in the 19th century. St. Katharine’s docks are the premier London yacht marina, and a great entertainment centre.
Some exceptionally interesting museums include the Bank of England Museum, representing the history of money, Bramah Tea and Coffee Museum, Madame Tussaud’s, Dickens House Museum, Wallace Collection, one of the best private art collections, and exotic Percival David Foundation of Chinese art.
